Refund Policy
Last Updated: 29 September, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, returns, and statutory withdrawal rights apply to purchases from Aliki Hoidas, including coaching services, online courses and digital content, live events, gift cards, and merchandise. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
1. Scope
This policy applies to purchases made directly from Aliki Hoidas through alikihoidas.com, truthflow.com, Thinkific, or another sales or payment platform we use, unless different terms are expressly provided for a particular product, service, program, or event.
Your rights may vary depending on the type of purchase, whether you are purchasing as a consumer or for business or professional purposes, and the mandatory laws that apply to your purchase.
2. General Refund Policy and Consumer Rights
Except where this policy, the specific terms of an offer, or applicable law provides otherwise, purchases are final and non-refundable.
If you purchase as a consumer, mandatory consumer law that applies to your purchase may give you additional cancellation, withdrawal, refund, return, or other rights. Those rights are not excluded or limited by this policy.
For example, consumers covered by EU/EEA consumer law generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from many distance contracts, subject to important exceptions and special rules for services and digital content. Similar cancellation rights may apply under UK consumer law.
Consumers in other countries or jurisdictions may have different mandatory rights under the law applicable to their purchase.
Where no statutory withdrawal, cancellation, or refund right applies, we do not provide a general 14-day cooling-off or money-back period unless one is expressly stated for the particular purchase.
3. Online Courses and Digital Content
Except where expressly stated otherwise or required by applicable law, purchases of online courses, programs, downloadable materials, recordings, and other digital content are final and non-refundable.
EU/EEA and UK Consumers
If EU/EEA or UK consumer withdrawal or cancellation law applies to your purchase, you may initially have a statutory withdrawal or cancellation period for digital content purchased online.
Where you choose to receive digital content before that statutory period has expired, we may ask you to:
expressly consent to the supply of the digital content beginning immediately; and
expressly acknowledge that you will lose your statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation once supply of the digital content begins.
Where the legally required consent and acknowledgment have been validly obtained and supply has begun, the statutory withdrawal or cancellation right is lost and the purchase is non-refundable for change-of-mind purposes.
Where the legally required consent, acknowledgment, or confirmation has not been obtained, any statutory rights you have will continue to apply in accordance with applicable law.
Consumers in Other Jurisdictions
For consumers outside the EU/EEA and UK, our general no-refund policy applies unless mandatory consumer law applicable to your purchase gives you additional rights.
Problems With the Content
Nothing in this section limits any legal rights you may have if digital content is defective, inaccessible, materially different from what was described, not supplied as agreed, or otherwise fails to conform to applicable legal requirements.
If a particular online offering is legally classified as a service rather than digital content, the rules applicable to services will apply to that offering.
4. Coaching Services
Except where expressly agreed otherwise or required by applicable law, coaching fees are non-refundable once purchased.
Individual coaching sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice unless different cancellation terms have been agreed for a particular coaching package. A session missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be treated as used.
EU/EEA and UK Consumers
If EU/EEA or UK consumer withdrawal or cancellation law applies to your coaching purchase, you may generally have 14 days from entering into the agreement to withdraw or cancel.
If you expressly request that coaching begins during that statutory period and subsequently exercise a valid right of withdrawal or cancellation, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the coaching services that have already been provided up to the time you notify us, where permitted by applicable law.
Where coaching has been fully performed during the statutory withdrawal or cancellation period at your express request, and any acknowledgment required by law regarding loss of the right after full performance has been validly obtained, the statutory right may end once the service has been fully performed.
After any applicable statutory withdrawal or cancellation period has expired, or the right has otherwise validly ended, coaching fees are non-refundable except where otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.
Consumers in Other Jurisdictions
For consumers outside the EU/EEA and UK, our general coaching cancellation and no-refund policy applies unless mandatory law applicable to your purchase gives you additional rights.
Nothing in our cancellation or rescheduling policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Business and Professional Clients
This section applies generally to business and professional purchases, regardless of the country in which the purchaser is located.
Where a purchase is made by a company, organization, or other business entity, or where applicable law classifies an individual purchaser as acting for business, trade, craft, or professional purposes rather than as a consumer, consumer-specific withdrawal, cooling-off, and change-of-mind rights generally do not apply.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, purchases of coaching, training, courses, programs, and other services made on a business or professional basis are final and non-refundable.
Cancellation, rescheduling, payment, and termination terms agreed for a particular business engagement or coaching agreement will continue to apply.
Where a purchase has both personal and professional purposes, whether the purchaser is legally treated as a consumer or business client will depend on the circumstances and the applicable law.
Nothing in this section excludes any right or remedy that applies to a business or professional purchaser and cannot legally be excluded.
6. Live Events
Except where expressly stated otherwise or required by law, tickets and registrations for live events, whether held in person or online, are non-refundable.
Certain events scheduled for a specific date or period may be excluded from statutory change-of-mind withdrawal rights under applicable consumer law. Whether an exemption applies depends on the nature of the event and the law applicable to the purchase.
If you cannot attend, you may contact us to ask whether your ticket or place can be transferred to another person. Transfer is subject to any conditions applicable to the particular event.
If we cancel an event, you will receive a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled event, or you may choose to apply that amount as credit toward a future event or service.
If we postpone an event, your booking will normally transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, please contact us regarding the options available to you, including any rights you have under applicable law.
Any separate payment-plan terms stated for an event will also apply.
7. Gift Cards
Except where required by applicable law, gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
If mandatory consumer law gives you a statutory right to withdraw from or cancel an unused gift-card purchase, that right will apply.
Once a gift card has been redeemed in whole or in part, refunds are not available except where required by applicable law.
Any expiry or validity period applicable to a gift card will be stated at the time of purchase and will comply with any mandatory law applicable to that gift card.
Promotional coupons, discount codes, and complimentary credits have no cash value and are subject to the terms stated when they are issued.
8. Merchandise and Physical Products
Where EU/EEA consumer withdrawal law applies, you generally have 14 days from receiving physical goods to notify us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase, subject to any statutory exceptions.
You must then return the goods without undue delay and within the period required by law.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
You may inspect goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced to reflect a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
Where required by applicable withdrawal law, we will refund the price paid and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method are not refundable unless required by law.
We may withhold reimbursement for returned goods until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been sent back, where permitted by applicable law.
Consumers in Other Jurisdictions
Consumers outside the EU/EEA may have return, cancellation, or refund rights under the mandatory consumer law applicable to their purchase. Those rights will be honored where they apply.
Faulty or Incorrect Products
Your legal rights concerning products that are defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or not as described are separate from any change-of-mind return policy and are not affected by this section.
For merchandise fulfilled by a third-party supplier, any sizing, delivery, and fulfillment terms shown when you purchase will also apply, subject to mandatory consumer law.
9. Technical or Delivery Problems With Digital Products
If you experience technical problems accessing an online course or other digital product you purchased, please contact us at [email protected].
We will work with you to restore access or otherwise resolve the problem within a reasonable time.
Where applicable law gives you additional remedies because digital content or a digital service is defective, unavailable, not supplied, or does not conform to the contract, those rights are not limited by this policy.
10. How to Exercise a Statutory Withdrawal or Cancellation Right
If applicable law gives you a statutory right to withdraw from or cancel a purchase, you may notify us by sending a clear statement of your decision to:
Please include enough information for us to identify your purchase, such as your name and order details.
You do not need to use any particular wording unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If an online withdrawal or cancellation function is available for your purchase, you may also use that function.
EU/EEA consumers may use the Model Withdrawal Form at the end of this policy, but use of the form is not required.
It is sufficient to send your withdrawal notice before the applicable statutory deadline expires.
11. Refunds
Where you are legally or contractually entitled to a refund, we will process the reimbursement within the period required by applicable law.
For a valid EU/EEA statutory withdrawal, reimbursement is generally made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the withdrawal, subject to the special rules that apply when physical goods must be returned.
Refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method is agreed or permitted by applicable law.
Where applicable law requires a full statutory refund, we will not deduct our own payment-processing costs from the amount legally due to you.
If your purchase was made in a currency different from the currency of your bank or card account, a refund will normally be issued in the currency of the original transaction. We are not responsible for differences caused by subsequent exchange-rate movements or currency-conversion charges independently applied by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Payment Plans
A payment plan is a method of paying for the underlying purchase and does not, by itself, create a new purchase or a new cancellation or withdrawal period each time an installment is charged, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Any statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights applicable to the original purchase continue to apply according to the law governing that purchase.
Once any applicable withdrawal or cancellation period has expired or been validly lost, you remain responsible for completing the agreed payment plan unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.
If a scheduled payment is not made, access to the relevant course, program, coaching service, or other purchase may be suspended until the account is brought up to date.
Nothing in this section requires you to continue paying where applicable law gives you a valid right to terminate the underlying contract because we have failed to provide what was agreed.
13. Discretionary Exceptions
In exceptional circumstances, we may choose to offer an alternative arrangement, such as rescheduling, credit, transfer, or another solution even where no refund or cancellation right otherwise applies.
Any such arrangement is offered at our sole discretion and does not create an entitlement to the same treatment in another case.
This section does not limit any statutory right you have under applicable law.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
This policy and contracts with Aliki Hoidas are governed by Greek law, except to the extent that mandatory rules of another jurisdiction apply.
If you are a consumer, the choice of Greek law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to your purchase under applicable conflict-of-laws rules.
Nothing in this policy prevents either party from exercising any right to bring a claim before a court, consumer authority, or other body where that right cannot legally be restricted.
If you have a concern about a purchase, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue directly.
